Pet care experience
I live for cats and dogs. My entire life I’ve been surrounded by both and my love for animals only grew stronger. My experience comes from years of taking care of my own animals, but also from a family run business that focuses on dog boarding and day-care(not offered through me). I’ve been assisting the business ever since inception, and picked up plenty of skills and experience in working with animals. As a responsible care taker, i guarantee your animals to be loved, protected and cared for. My general approach to any animal is very gentle and respectful. Many cats & dogs require some adjustment time which is only natural for them when meeting a new person. Each situation can vary dramatically and will always depend on the likes and dislikes of every animal. I also often engage in training activities depending on needs of the dog with the help of low calorie treats and other puzzles.

While i myself do not accept boarding in my house, i always make sure to create a safe space in the client’s homes in accordance with each and any rules. Outside i use multiple safeguards and constantly verify safety mechanisms.

Certainly any important health information is a must, as well as some general description of the dog’s personality traits, likes & dislikes, specific instructions (ex. no couch) and anything else deemed remotely important. (aggressive tendencies?)
A typical day
Different dogs enjoy different things, some like to be extremely active while others prefer to chill. I will first identify what does a particular dog actually enjoy doing and then go from there. I love using food puzzles for mental stimulation and other varying types of activities that dogs enjoy. While i do not offer professional training, i do dedicate some time to reaffirming good behavior whether inside the house or outside. I NEVER employ any of the controversial training tactics and exclusively rely on positive reinforcement with the help of low calorie treats/toys (depending on your dog’s drives). One thing assured, the dog will be engaged with to the fullest extent of my ability.

I am a full time employee at a regular job. That leaves me with somewhat limited availability depending on your needs. Currently available WEEKEND (Sat7pm/Sun) only.
