Hey, I'm Jake! I've been a dog-fanatic since I was little and raised my first dog at 7. To me, dogs are one of the best parts of life and I get a boost whenever I'm around dogs! I currently have a 6 year old Dachshund/Great Dane mix little dog named Rita who I was lucky enough to find at the local Humane Society. She's the best! I have taken care of dogs my entire life and have experience giving medications (eye drops, pills, ear drops, ointments), grooming (bathing, clipping nails, cleaning ears), and in-general following specific owner directions for care. Also, I'm a Type 1 Diabetic, so if your dog needs injections, I'd be more than comfortable administering them as well. My girlfriend and I have been boarding and walking dogs through Rover since 2017. I've enjoyed all of the different furry friends we get to hangout with!

Not only is he extremely attentive with making sure your dog is hydrated, fed, well excercised, and safe, he also will be punctual about any medication that needs adminstering or any other specialized care. My favorite thing about Jake's care is that he is truly an unconditional dog lover: all personalities, breeds, ages, and demeanors are cherished. Your pup will be in doggy heaven as Jake typically works from home and includes his sweet dog Rita and any pups in an ideal daycare environment. He has a calm and friendly presence and will be sure to give your dog awesome care!

I give each clients pets the same love and care that I provide for my own dog. I make sure to be highly careful when opening any doors to ensure no dog can make an escape. When it’s hot out I make sure to take a lot of breaks in the shade, provide water through the walk and even spray the dogs with a “misting” water bottle to help keep them cool.

A typical day
I have an open work schedule currently. I like to get walks in early in the morning before it gets too hot. I enjoy exploring neighborhoods while on walks, as well as going to dog parks and hike.
