I am here because I love the idea of helping other pet-parents know their pets can be taken care of when they are busy or want to enjoy time away with loved ones. I am also here because anyone who knows me knows how much I love animals :) both my own and any animal I meet. I have experience with all sorts of animals and I'm equally as comfortable with both dogs and cats... big and small. I also have experience with tricky behaviors (aggressiveness, food guarding, potty training, learning to walk on a leash, teaching commands, etc.). I can administer medicine, communicate with vet offices effectively, and I am known for providing all of the updates/pictures/videos someone would like while I'm caring for their pet!

For awareness, dogs and cats are kept separate in our home. We do this for safety :) There is an underground fence for our dogs and this is an option if your dogs are collar trained. If not, no problem - I am happy to take pets out on a leash. Safety is my top priority, so I will strictly follow the instructions given for your pet(s). When it comes to inside the home, I will closely monitor all play/interactions and if needed, I will separate and/or give primarily 1 on 1 time with your pet if that is what they require. Please note: if you live more than 45 miles from my address I do charge a 1x flat fee of $50.00 while house sitting. Similarly, if you live more than 25 miles from my address I charge a 1x flat fee of $12.00 for dog walking and/or drop-in visits. Thank you for your understanding!

I ask that you help me keep all animals happy and safe by letting me know about any 'quirks' - for example: animal to animal friendliness, any animals (big or small) that they don't like, are they afraid of loud noises or thunderstorms? etc. If your pet prefers more quiet time and doesn't enjoy being around other dogs, I would be happy to keep them separate and give more 1 on 1 time vs group time with my animals. ***Please also let me know your vet contact information and any allergies/sensitivities/medicine required. While your pet is in my home I will ask for proof of vaccinations so I can keep my animals safe and healthy... I do the same for you by keeping my pets UTD on all cares, at all times.
A typical day
With 20 acres there is plenty of room to run and play! I love letting the dogs play together outside and get their sniffs in. I also enjoy taking walks, playing fetch, or just spending time with them and getting snuggles in. Whatever your pet needs, I will customize our home and animals to meet those needs.

What sets me apart? When your pet is in my care (at my home or your own), I make them my priority from start to finish and treat them like my own. When guest dogs are staying in my home I sleep with them in our spare bedroom (no kenneling at night or during the day unless you request I do so) and if I'm house sitting you can rest assured that I will leave your home and pets as good or better than I found them. I never charge extra for walks, playing fetch, taking them on a car ride, or doing an activity they enjoy. I want your pet to feel like they're on vacation, too :) When I'm house sitting for a client I aim to be there the entire time, and since I work remotely (as long as you have quality wi-fi) I am able to work from your home - this means your pet gets even more time and attention, and if I do have to leave it will only be for a very short period and I will communicate this to you prior. If you do not need/want me there 24/7 we can discuss and adjust price based on what we agree upon during our meet and greet. I aim to be as flexible as possible to meet both your need and your budget... I know this is an investment!

Our little 15-year-old cat has had quite a few care givers in her lifetime and Jaimie is the best of the best. She’s friendly, conscientious, caring, and so, so good with animals (and people 🙂). There’s nothing like leaving town and knowing for certain your little friend is in kind, competent hands! 😻❤️
I absolutely love how well she did and how much compassion she had for the dogs. I had many updates and pictures throughout the day. My dog was well taken care of and had an aboundance of attention and exercise. Hands down I would recoommend and rebook in the future.
We can’t say enough good things about Jaimie! Her communication was amazing and her care for our dogs was top notch! With her care and attention we were able to throughly enjoy our vacation. The dogs loved Jaimie and we would certainly hire her again - the dogs would be thrilled!
Jamie is simply the best. She went above and beyond to make our fur babies feel at home when we were away on our honeymoon. The best care ever!
