Hi! I'm a 30-year-old Hermosa Beach resident and part-time arts student. I work freelance from my home office which offers me a very flexible schedule. I truly love the company of animals and I’d love to fill my extra time caring for your precious pets! My 4-year-old dachshund, Walter, is my best friend so I understand how important it is to have a responsible, trustworthy and knowledgable person to take care of your pups while you are away. I have had cats and dogs of a variety of breeds since I was a young child, including Dachshunds, Schnauzers, Cocker Spaniels, Pugs, Chihuahuas, Boxers and German Pointers. And after raising my first puppy, Walter, I truly appreciate each animal's unique needs and personalities. My experience raising dogs throughout my life has given me a strong knowledge and intuition of dog behaviors and body language. I am comfortable interacting with both puppies and seniors of a variety of breeds. I am also familiar with administering oral and topical medications and basic first aid. I'd be honored to have the opportunity to care for your dog as if they were my own! *My overnight rate is for 24 hours, more or less. If you plan to pick up your pup beyond that limit, doggy day care charges may apply. For example, if you drop off your pup at 8am on Friday and pick up at 5pm on Sunday, there will be an overnight rate for Friday and Saturday and daycare for Sunday (8am to 5pm) *If you need to drop your pup off before 7am, I usually request a $10 early drop off charge. .
