Pet care experience
Growing up I cared for my dog, cats, horses and birds. I had cats only for the last 16 yrs. I wanted to get a dog many yrs. ago but couldn’t because of living arrangements and then in more recent years it wouldn’t have been fair to elderly kitties. They are both gone now and I would love to love on someone’s dog while they are away. I am the biggest dog lover you’ll ever meet without a dog! UPDATE: I got my own dog!! 😁😍

Jamie was amazing with my nervous dog and put her at ease! She provided the affection and cuddles my dog needed to feel calm in our absence. My dog took to her almost immediately!

I live in a townhome that has a shared grassy yard behind the 5 units. It is not fenced, so it would be good for a quick potty break only. I’d keep the dog on a leash unless the owner let me know they are not the type to take off. Otherwise, I live near parks where we’d have more room to walk, run and play. Please note: because I live in a townhome I am unable to watch dogs that are big barkers. If they are and have a bark collar that is effective, that is okay. I also am unable to watch dogs that are super high energy and need multiple and/or long walks.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs. I understand it can be stressful knowing whether a pet sitter is willing and able to handle those needs. Also, let me know if they have any quirks or dislikes I should be aware of.
A typical day
I love to talk to the dogs, love on them and give them lots of pets. I’m up for playing their fav. games or activities! I love to go on neighborhood walks to our favorite park. I will love on your pet as if they were my own. ❤️

Availability
I work full time from home except for Tuesdays. I have meetings throughout the day, but I am able to work in breaks to take the dog out for potty breaks and some exercise.
