My family first started rescuing dogs when I was in Grade 8 (I won’t completely age myself, but let’s just say I grew up with Spongebob lol). While we usually adopt older dogs (7+) I do have experience with puppies too. I have an amazing dog (Balto, 4) who is the most important thing in my life. I have a solid job working 8:00-3:30 Monday through Friday. I come home at lunch to let Balto out, or have my friend who lives with me and works from home do it in my absence. If I watch your dog on weekends I will make sure to spend all day with them. I will give them the same love and care I would give my own dog, so you can feel at ease knowing they are in good hands. Please only neutered or spayed dogs, unless puppies. I take my own dog out at least 5 times a day. We walk my neighborhood (it is nice, quiet, dog friendly and private), or go to the park. My home is their home! Whatever makes them comfortable is what works for me. I can imagine they are a little uncomfortable being in a stranger’s home, so I will do whatever to make them feel safe.
