Pet care experience
Pieces of my heart will forever belong to the furbabies who have been a part of my life since I was a child. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats for over 25 years. I’ve bottle fed and fostered newborn kittens until they’ve reached adoption age and been placed in their forever homes. I’m certified in animal CPR and first aid, and I can provide oral meds to your dog or cat. I also have both practical knowledge and hands-on experience in administering medications, hydration, and nutrition via esophagostomy tubes in cats. Family members and neighbors have trusted me with their pets while they’ve been away, to feed and play with them, and also to do overnight sitting. I’m comfortable with walking leash-trained dogs of most sizes, and am happy to play with your pups within the safety of your home or fenced-in yard.

Jaime was AMAZING for our fur family!! We had a destination wedding, gone for 6 days, and I wasn’t worried about my cats or dog at all. I go pictures, videos, and so many updates on how they were. I also came home to a clean house and my bed sheets changed, which is amazing after a long day of travel! Recommend to anyone who wants their babies safe and loved!

But I also have experience with E-collars and collars that function with wireless fencing; please let me know if this applies to your dog(s), and we can discuss your preferences for your dog’s care over the app or at our meet and greet.

Every dog is different, and I want to keep your doggo as safe and happy as possible until the two of you are together again.
A typical day
I typically stick quite close to the homes and neighborhoods of the dogs I’m watching when I take them outside for walks—but I do enjoy walking in parks on my own. If you’d like to mix it up, I’d love to bring your dog along with me. I always turn my Apple Watch on to record the walks I take with the pups I watch, and I love sending pics of our routes back to their owners!

Availability
I have a fairly flexible schedule. I recently earned my teaching license, and I teach online from home at night. Fortunately my virtual classroom can travel with me wherever I go! I also occasionally accept sub jobs in my area, which means I’m gone for the majority of the day, but I’m happy to take a break from the classroom while house sitting for your doggo.
