Pet care experience
I have grown up with animals my whole life, two of those animals being my dogs. Aside from my dogs I have taken care of cats, bunnies, reptiles, hamsters, fish, and I even took care of a family of baby chicks for a while. You could say I’m an animal lover. Aside from my love for animals, I am currently a nursing student. I also currently working at “Woofdah!” Doggy day care and boarding where I care for dogs of all temperaments with many different needs and personalities. I currently have a chocolate lab (he is a big boy weighs about 110 pounds), and a Shih Tzu. My lab has struggled with behavioral issues so I have gained significant experience in training a large breed dog with unfriendly tendencies. Throughout the years I have gained plenty of experience in handling breeds of all shapes and sizes. I will treat your dog with the upmost respect and care they deserve, and would love to get to know your pup!

Growing up with Jaelyn it has always been obvious that she is a true animal lover. We have rescued and taken care of many animals in our house over the years and she has always had a special bond with our two dogs. She takes them to the dog park a lot and handles our large and sometimes aggressive dog very well. She treats our dogs as family and you would be lucky to have her as a sitter!
Jaelyn has a true passion for all animals. She will care for and love your pet as if it were her own. You can rest assured knowing your pet is taken care of when you are gone. Whether it’s long walks outdoors, playtime in the yard or snuggles on the couch. Jaelyn is the care giver you want for your beloved pet.
As long as I have known Jaelyn her caring nature towards all her pets (especially her dogs) has been clear to me. She has always talked with me about wanting to have her own dog sanctuary some day. I have had many trips to the dog park with Jaelyn and her dogs, she does well with controlling her dogs while also making sure they are having a good time. I think this would be a great job for Jaelyn. Side note- I met her for the first time at the animal shelter!

It is important for me to know your dogs temperament. Before sitting, I will schedule a meet and greet with your pup so we can get acquainted. I also require information on feeding schedule, feeding portions, daily routines for your pup, sleeping arrangements, any medications they may have and need administered, and how often potty breaks and exercise occur for your pup.
A typical day
When I am dog sitting I typically will offer to take the dogs in daily walks per owners approval. I will spend adequate time ensuring your dog receives the attention and care they need. Including play time, walks, dog park (per owners request), and of course plenty of attention.

Availability
I am available for boarding, in home sitting, and walks Friday-Sunday. During the week, I have school and work. I update my schedule as it comes as it may vary week by week. . Following this, I am available for walks or drop in visits with your pup during the week. I may also be available for overnights depending on the week, my schedule will remain up to date.
