Pet care experience
I’ve been around pets for my entire life. I had mostly cats growing up, but then we got a dog 7 years ago and I’ve cared for countless since. My husband and I own a Doberman — she’s only 2, but is extremely high energy and can be hard to handle. I’m not afraid of playful or high energy pets :)

I like to know the general feel for the dog! Are they high-energy or a little more of a couch potato; do they like to be left alone or cuddle; etc. I also like to know whether the dog gets along with other dogs, if they have good recall, specific medications or needs, etc.
A typical day
It all depends on the dog! I'm always game to take dogs on a walk in the neighbordhood or to a beach. If it's a more active dog and has decent recall, I'm happy to take them to a local hike or on more rigorous exercise. I can also take the dog to a park and throw the ball with them for a while - really all just depends! My personal favorite with my doberman is to take her to the beach in the morning and walk her for a while. It's a good way to start the day for both of us :)

Availability
I work from home, and as long as I have WiFi, my schedule is super flexible! I can’t offer in-home services due to a territorial pitbull on the property, but happy to accommodate elsewhere.
