My husband and I are both dog lovers who would love to help take of your furry friends. We have dog-sat for friends and family members and just love the company of dogs. We have an 8 year-old dog , Hope, who we rescued 6 years ago. Hope is a sweet Lab/Hound mix who has never met another dog she doesn't like. She loves to play, but is respectful around older dogs or smaller dogs who might not be as interested. Hope is allowed on our beds and couches, so your dog is of course allowed as well if that's what they're used to. We want your dog to feel comfortable and welcome in our home. To make you feel at ease, we are more than willing to send pictures and updates while you are away. Our house has plenty of space and a large backyard. Typically, it's fully fenced in. However, it is currently only about 3/4 enclosed. Unless extreme weather prevents us from doing so, Hope gets at least one walk or run per day so your dog will too. In general, we are looking to only board 1 dog at a time to make sure we have the time and energy to give your dog the attention and exercise he or she deserves. If you have 2 dogs that need a place to stay, we would consider taking in 2 dogs from the same family.
