I have loved animals for as long as I can remember; from the first alley cat I cared for at 7 years old, to my first puppy at 16. We had a Doberman (from a puppy) and Chihuahua mix (rescue) as our family pets along with a Double Yellow Headed Amazon parrot. I have raised a Boxer from puppyhood and a rescued Maine Coon on my own as a young adult. Animals have always been a big part of who I am. Currently loving on a mini goldendoodle puppy. Whether you need someone to walk your dog or check in on them with some loving while you are on vacation, I would love to be that person for your family.

Jade has been so wonderful to my pups. She really pays attention to their needs. My Sam doesn't like the hot sun so she entertained him in the shade. She is great about communication!

Jade is a fantastic dog-sitter/walker. She has a genuine love of dogs and it's obvious that our Golden Cocker Reagan adores her. His warning barks turn to a happy snorts and body wiggle/noodles when she walks through the door. So cute to see! She has dog-sat for us several times (while on vacation) and numerous walks over the last 2 years; always with a happy/relaxed dog at the end. Jade responds quickly to texts and doesn't need reminders about future jobs (which I always appreciate). Recommend without reservation. -Laura

Lots of attention, positive praise, pets and belly rubs are essential for any fur baby, big or small. I will not be combining walks with other client's fur baby (unless requested) so your baby will have 100% of my attention and time when I am caring for him or her. Does he or she have a favorite route to walk or like to discover a new path? Just let me know and I would be happy to accommodate.

Let me know if there is a particular fun thing your dog loves to do and we can be sure to do it. Is there a special park or walking route? I want him/her to have lots of fun and butt wiggles while you are away so letting me know all the good stuff and stuff to look out for (like allergies or frenemies, etc) would make it most enjoyable for all.
A typical day
Going on walks is the dog's chance to take in the world, I like going on long leisurely walks through the neighborhood so they can do that. Play time usually consists of fetch or tug of war or just lots of pets and belly rubs, whichever is preferred.

Availability
I am a single mom working from home due to COVID changes. Since my office has now transitioned to permanent work from home I am looking to add more variety and social interaction into my daily routine. I have found social interaction with animals just as rewarding for us humans as it is for the animals.
