Pet care experience
I have had furry friends since right out of the womb. I've watched my best furry friends age throughout their lives, and every lesson they have taught me I carry with me every day. From young pups, I've trained to sit, speak, and potty train, to the old pups that I've had to help potty. Everyone lesson of young and old, gray muzzle hairs and all, is a good memory, and one I cherish. My experience comes from dog sitting for over 12 years, overnight and day check-ins, to my own dog's potty training, baths, nail trimmings, and general commands. I have taken care of dogs, dogs, lizards, rabbits, and rodents. I also used to work at a animal safari park as an animal caregiver. So please ask me about the habits for alpacas and goats, they are fascinating! Breeds and personalities range from high-energy zoomies to let's take a nap all day.

I had Jade babysit my fur babies while on vacation. She went above and beyond. They we're so happy and I got check-ins with photos during the trip. When we got home, they didn't even seem annoyed that we left.
I’ve watched Jade work with animals of all sorts and she has a big ‘ole soft spot for them all. She treats animals with respect and compassion, while also giving them lots of love. She knows when to respect boundaries for those animals that want space, but also knows when to give extra attention to animals who crave the extra love. She looks out for their well-being, always making sure they are okay. She’s a fantastic worker and a very trustworthy one at that. I’d recommend her to anyone with pets!

I have had the pleasure of working with Jade at an animal park. She is not only caring and kind but also has superior observational qualities. She got to know each animal very very well and picked up on subtle changes that could indicate an animal might not be feeling well or need some kind of intervention. Jade is very detail oriented and takes initiative to solve or suggest solutions to make things easier to do certain tasks relating to animals and the work place in general. I would trust her with all of my animals.

For walks, bright vest will be worn near roads and only scheduled during daylight, so your pets and myself remain as safe as possible. On walks, your furry friend sets the pace, I will not pull or rush through a walk if they just need some time to sniff the flowers (or mark them). I will have bags for clean-up and water bowls and water if we need a break. For check-ins, meeting your pet for the first time supervised is my recommendation, so they are aware that I am a friendly face. I require a feeding schedule with amounts and methods to feed, as well as any information regarding special instructions for your pet. For baths and nail trimmings, I do offer baths for dogs and puppies only. I will not force nail trimmings in the first appointment so your pet is aware that this is a safe space.

Availability
I am currently full-time working at a health department, and looking to fill my weekends with furry friends to tend to. Fridays from 6-9, to Saturdays and Sundays open schedules. I would love to hang out, check in on, take for a walk, and give your furry companion a bath.
