Before having a dog over to stay my house I would like to have a short meeting with both the owner and their furry friend to discuss behavior, level of training, typical commands used, diet, and any special circumstances that may be important or unique. I also would want to get to know both of your personalities so that I can provide the most exceptional care possible! Due to most dogs having some anxiety, I think it is very important to introduce myself to a new dog and allow them some time to "analyze" before taking them into my care. I also want to make sure that all of the basic bases are covered so that you feel comfortable and confident leaving your dog in my care.

Although I have a rather small yard, it is still large enough to play fetch in especially for smaller breeds. I live within walking distance from Lake Harriet where we can enjoy long strolls or runs around the lake and even a nice swim! I am also a short drive away from Minnehaha Dog Park and Theodore Wirth Park where your pup can get some socialization and nature walking in! My neighborhood is very safe and pet friendly with a large open park area just a block away. There are also two other dog parks near by (Lyndale Farmstead Dog Park and Lake of The Isles Dog Park) that are other options depending on what you would prefer. I also go to school in Eagan, so if you live in a southern suburb of Minneapolis I can offer nature walks around Lebanon Hills Regional Park as well! I LOVE playing with dogs, so depending on your pup's choice of activities I can offer toys to play fetch, tug-o-war, or even just wrestle around with energetic breeds.
