ALOHA Y'all! I’m Ms. Lovelace but you can call me Aunty Jade! I am moved here to the beautiful CA back in 2019 with my cat Friday! We are the Lovelace Ladies & if you would like to media stalk not only the kind of care I give an an Aunty but me and my own furr-babies adventures @jadesonewomanshow on Instagram 🙌 Level One Animal Reiki Certified 🐈 & I also specialize in feline care! I am so very excited, to welcome ALL, furry🐱🐕feathery🦜🐥scaly🦎🐍, hooved 🐎🐖 and 🤲 palmed friends alike to The Lovelace Ohana! Little Back Story Here: I grew up in Texas I was always around canines and other farm animals, my mom was a vet tech so you can imagine some of the beings I got to meet growing up! As the oldest child, I was my mother's go-to assistant, and In high school I worked hand in hand with my grandparents, on their ranch. They had two horses, four large dogs, a catfish pond, a friendly garden snake and cats! The first time I got my own pup (that wasn’t a family dog), was when I started living on my own in Hawaii. She was a Maui rescue. Half lab / half pointer, who never left my side! Adopted on Friday the 13th, & since that lucky day she changed/saved my life. Being her mom, Introduced me to dog trainers, shelter owners, vets and groomers who taught me so much about canine care & a lot about separation anxiety within animals. She is no longer with me, and after her I was not sure I could ever be a pet owner again, but I am a very proud cat Mom now! Her name is Friday, and I like to joke she adopted me. Since having the pleasure of being her cat mom, I’ve prided myself on learning so much about cat behavior, feline care and even cat training for tricks. My pet sitting experience includes overnight feline, canine and other pet care. I have watched many of my friend’s & families furr-children for long durations, when owners were deployed. While your away,and if your particular pet enjoys some/all of things things: we will have lots of walks, playtime, dog parks & beaches, Car rides & oodles of kisses! I myself love adventure so if I’m able to go out and hike with your doggo/cat I most definitely will :) I am currently working on getting licensed in pet massage therapy, and am studying to become FEAR FREE Certified. I enjoy offering Reiki to the animals in my care & will only continue to expand my knowledge & skill sets around holistic care for animals. I live in a cute/small apartment complex with my roommate. Since my home is small I do not offer boarding, of any kind currently. I am currently a student going to college online & my schedule is flexible. Having worked in customer service most of my life, I understand how crazy scheduling can be and am willing to work with early morning & late night meetings. My longest recorded housesitting on Rover so far, 27 days: 4 cats and 2 large dogs. So multiple and or large animals are not something I will shy away from. I do specialize in dogs with separation anxiety & our senior friends. My main career is as a massage therapist, so in my hands your family member will not only be well pet, but cared for with attentive and nurturing spirit. Jade house-sat and took care of our senior shih tzu over Christmas while we were on vacation. She was so kind and attentive, and sent lots of photo updates and videos so we never worried about our home or our baby while we were away. Communication was excellent, and she left the house clean and gave our pup lots of fun social outings. We'll definitely book Jade again!
Mandi LOVES Auntie Jade. She is amazing!!
Jade is amazing. She has watched our Mandi girl many times and Mandi just adores Jade. This was the first time leaving Mandi for a long period of time. Jade kept us up to date about how she was doing and sent many pictures. We love Jade and can’t wait for her to come and play again.
I was very nervous using someone that I didn't know. But Jade made me feel comfortable from the very first meet and greet. She was very happy to send me updated pictures on how Bella was doing thru out the time she was in her care. She followed all my instructions walking, meds, play time. I would book her again and refer her to friends.

I’d like to know about your pet’s quirks and general temperament. What are their boundaries? Favorite toys or little ways they do the things they do? How do they like do be loved on? Do they have any aggressive tendencies? What is your dog’s daily routine? Are they trained with basic commands or tricks? Do you mind if I share photos of them on social media? What is their routine in detail? How adventurous can we be? If you have a Doc with all their information and instruction's you wanna put together, I would love that! In fact it's something I encourage all my new clients to do - for easy sharing and easy updates for future sittings as well.
A typical day
Walks are customized to fit each dogs needs, as no boopsnoot is the same! I enjoy order in my walks, so I avoid cell use and practice mindfulness with all animal handling. They enjoy when your the ine present with them as well. When I meet a new four-legged friend, I’ll let them smell me and will offer owner-approved treats, when applicable. I really enjoy playing pet games that I find on Pinterest, and I’m stoked to get to try some of them with the dogs I care for. I don't enjoy cooking, but baking some treats for our furry-ones is always something I want to be doing. I tend to stick as close to the pet's schedule as possible so they feel most at ease, of course throwing in some aunty jade fun plot twists in there, park trips, dog parks can all be an option. I know how stressful it can be to leave your fur child with someone new and have empathy for worrying pet parents, as I am usually one. That’s why I send frequent pictures and videos to updates my human clients while they’re away. Which means photo shoot might be considered an activity here

Availability
I am solopreneur for holistic care and student working towards getting licensed by MBLEX. Monday - Fridays I work from home for 5-7 hours, the timing is flexible. I will bring the animal with me to my home, where I have a small play pen for them to hang out, this is a vetted process as my cat does live in home with me. I schedule my massage service Fridays - Sundays, its a travel to you service, it takes about 3 hours for each client and I only book two per-day. They animals would be in their own home for the duration of the service, and then I would return. Pretty much they will be with 95% of the time. They will never be left alone longer then 6-7 hours at time. I keep each client informed with what is happening, and send pictures, as well as videos and follow along with me stories live in IG if you follow.
