I make sure all areas are pet-proofed, with no access to dangerous items, chemicals, or small objects they could swallow. Dogs get plenty of attention, exercise, and mental stimulation throughout the day, with regular walks, playtime, and cuddle breaks. I maintain a consistent feeding schedule and always follow any dietary or medication instructions provided by the owner. In a client’s home: I always respect my clients’ space and routines. I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walking, play, and medication. I make sure doors, gates, and any potential hazards are secured. I also provide updates and photos to give owners peace of mind while they’re away, ensuring their pet feels safe, happy, and loved in their familiar environment.

Before boarding a dog, it is important for me to know their daily routine, including their feeding schedule, potty times, and sleep habits. I also like to understand their personality, how they get along with other dogs, any fears or triggers they have, and how they behave when left alone. Health information is very important too, such as vaccinations, allergies, medical conditions, or any medications they need. Knowing their training level, house rules, and any behaviors they are still working on helps me keep things consistent. I also ask about their favorite toys, comfort items, and what helps them feel safe so I can make their stay as smooth and stress free as possible.
A typical day
I love spending time with dogs and keeping them happy while their owners are away. I enjoy taking them on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, giving them plenty of attention, and making sure they get lots of snuggles if they want them. I also like doing little enrichment activities, like treat puzzles or sniff walks, to keep them mentally stimulated. Overall, I just make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and entertained the whole time I’m with them.

Jade is absolutely amazing! She took care of our boy so so well and was very responsive and sent a lot of pictures! When we picked him up, you could tell that he was very well taken care of and he loves Jade! She also was very accommodating to us since we got stuck in Florida for an extra day due to flight cancellations. Jade is the absolute best and will definitely be using her again!

Jade did a fantastic job watching Taako! I loved getting all the pictures from her while I was away. This was my first time boarding Taako using Rover and I felt so much better with all of Jade's updates. Normal boarding would stress him out since it's so similar to a shelter but he was able to curl up with Jade and that eased my mind while I was away. I'll definitely be booking with her again
Jade is great with our dogs, who can be rambunctious, and just overall delightful to deal with. She's punctual, patient, and pleasant to all of us. Thrilled to have found her.
