I was raised with an extended family of veterinarians and a multitude of animal lovers. My mom had cats and dogs in the house at all times and showed me how to potty train, feed, walk, love and care for all animals from a very young age. I am not able to have children and therefore have always considered my pets as my children but also have always been a pretty fanatical animal lover. I am an emphatic person and tend to gain animals' trust very fast and can also ascertain when they may not be feeling well or are scared of someone else. I have trimmed my own animals nails for years, groomed them and also home made cat and dog food since college.
