Pet care experience
Raised in a household with triple the amount of animals to people, understanding the needs of dogs, cats, and creatures alike is second nature to me and I wouldn't have it any other way. From cats to dogs to birds to rodents, I've taken care of them all! Hi, my name is Jade, I'm a UC Santa Barbara Graduate with a B.A. in Sociology. I am currently a flight attendant for a major US airline and spend my off days taking care of your four-legged family members! My shared household is home to an adopted Roborovki hamster by the name of Smore. In my younger years, my family dog was an 80+ pound Bovier des Flandre and in high school we welcomed an 8 pound Papillon-Chihuahua mix to our home. Alongside dogs, I've grown up taking care of cats of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities and am most comfortable taking care of and understanding our feline friends!

Safety is a primary concern for me when it comes to your pets, your home, and COVID-19 precautions. Let me know about how to best approach your pet in their environment, any special needs they may have, and what spaces I'm allowed to be in with your pet! I have received both of my Pfizer vaccine shots as of 04/12/2021. From making sure they are nourished to offering quality time playing or cuddling, you can expect attentive care from a life-long fellow pet owner.

Please let me know about special needs (if any), dietary restrictions (if any), general personality, and best way to approach your pet (slow movements, high energy, soft voice, etc). Current training is also preferred (potty-trained, leash-trained, curb-trained) just so I know what to keep an eye out for to keep them safe and your home clean!
A typical day
A meet and greet prior to booking is strongly preferred! I want to make sure we are able to communicate about your pet's needs as well as how to maintain a safe and clean environment in your home. Most importantly, I want to be able to introduce myself to your pet and make sure that they are comfortable with my presence in their space! For all types of bookings, I'll always makes sure to have my eyes on your pet before we start our day. If your pet is shy, I will respect their space, and if your pet is friendly we may get some petting and playing in before moving on to the care/walk. For drop-ins and house sittings, I'll usually move on to care tasks (feeding, refreshing water, cleaning littler boxes) and use any remaining time we have to spend quality time with your pet! For walks, we'll typically keep to the nearby neighborhood, stopping halfway for treats and water when the weather is hot or ending with water and treats on cooler days. Each visit will end with a narrative on how it went as well as plenty of photographs to ease your mind! As a flight attendant, I will typically be flying 3-4 days and off the rest of the week. My schedule will always shifting, but my calendar will be updated frequently!
