I've loved dogs all my life. I currently have three dogs of my own, Rufus (75lb, 7 years) and Grandpa (45lb, 7-9 years), and Snacks (20lb, 3years) After my first dog, Chase, passed away just shy of 13yrs, I began fostering with a local volunteer organization to give families that special connection and love that I had with Chase. As of today, I have fostered 20 dogs of a variety of breed, age, and sizes in the last 2 years. It’s become my absolute passion and purpose in life. I’m home full time, which allows me to dedicate my life to the care of my dogs and fosters. So I figured why not expand to others in need of some help! In my care, you can trust that your dog is being treated with the utmost care and love like he or she is one of my own. Fostering and training sessions have allowed me to acquire a ton of first hand experience over the years about dog behavior, training, and reading body language- which allows me to assure for safe play and social interaction between dogs. My personal dogs are amazing with others and are not pushy — if your dog doesn’t want to play, they accept/respect that and leave them alone. An enormously important attribute in dog interactions. So rest assure that if you have a senior dog or dog that just isn't super into play -- thats okay too. We also love cuddles, naps, and belly rubs! High energy or young pup? I have a large fenced in backyard for lots of outdoor playtime and to run off excess energy. I also have a dedicated dog area in my home where dogs can be separated and/or crated, if needed.
