Your pet will love Tia time!

Pet care experience

I love being a "Tia" to your dog! When sitting or walking dogs, I try to make sure they have a great experience, whether that be lots of play time, a long walk, or just making sure they feel comfortable and have company. I know how important routine is, so you can't count on me to make sure they stick to it. I'm very dependable and good with dogs of all sizes, and I will make sure a pup-in-training continues to get that training when I'm there. I am also able to care for multiple dogs in the same household. For drop-ins and walks, I am very flexible on the weekends, but on the weekdays I am available mostly in the evening (4pm-10pm). For an overnight stay at your house, I am more flexible and would be there when you need me (even on weekdays). Looking forward to meeting you and your dog!

Jacquie is AMAZING. I cannot tell you how difficult a time we've had finding a petsitter that was willing to work with our cat, Dublin, who has seizures unless he gets his daily medication. Unfortunately for all of our pet sitters in the past, he's a real nightmare fur-child for anyone trying to give him pills that isn't myself or my husband. Jacquie ran into the same difficulties as the other pet sitters, but she was incredibly patient with him and kept trying different methods of getting him to take his pills until she discovered that he loved a certain pet food and would eat the medication if it was ground up in the food. Bam. Just like that, she solved the puzzle, but not without an incredible amount of patience and due diligence on her part. Needless to say, I've decided anyone that wanting to book Jacquie the same weekend my husband and I need her will have to settle it in a duel with us, haha. However, if there's no conflict with our vacation schedules, I can assure you she's worth her weight in gold and you don't need to look any further for a worthwhile and trustworthy pet sitter.

Jacquie took the best care of my dog, Bobbi, while I was away. She is so good that Bobbi seemed a bit disappointed when I came home. Jacquie is communicative, friendly, and reliable.

Jacquie watched our little man while we were out of town over the Thanksgiving holiday. She stayed at our house, fed, walked and played with him, and sent us daily updates of how everything was going. When we got home, our pup was relaxed and sleepy, which meant to me that Jacquie did a great job keeping him happy. We will definitely be hiring Jacquie for future puppy/house-sitting needs. :)

Jacquie is a blessing for me! I have been searching for someone to give my senior chihuahua love! She’s been absolutely amazing. I was hesitant to write a review because I need to book her for my pup :)

Information Jacquie A. would like to know about your pet

It's helpful to know what commands your dog knows or is used to, whether they are good with other dogs, and what makes them anxious. Of course I also love to know a little about what makes the dog happy and how they like to play. I don't have any breed preferences - I like all dogs.

A typical day

I LOVE going on long walks in wooded areas like Umstead or the Eno River State Park. If we can't get out there, a walk around the neighborhood can be just as fun. I also like running in the spring and summer, and your dog would be a great companion! And of course, I love going to the dog park if that's an option with your dog -- I love seeing them play together!
