Pet care experience
I’ve always had dogs, either owning them or just playing with them. I currently have two Jack Russell mixes, but we had another Jack Russell mix for nearly ten years. I taught him to sit, stay, shake and rollover. I like playing with them and walking around so they’re tired after! I like to get to know the dogs individual personality to see what works with them and what doesn’t. I don’t mind training a dog, mostly basics like sit, stay and shake. My old Jack Russell went deaf after we got him so I have some experience with dogs with certain special needs. I’m available almost every day, but I’ll let Rover and pet owners know when I’m going away for vacation or an emergency pops up. I just graduated from college so I’m available any day or time to watch your furry friend!

Jacqui was reliable, trustworthy, and was absolutely wonderful with my pup, Nora. She sent pictures during each check in and kept me updated about what she did with Nora during that time. Jacqui was great and I would absolutely book with her again!!
Jacqui was very reliable and great with communication. She came on time every day and always sent our puppy's Rover card right when the visit was over. I will definitely be booking with Jacqui again. She took great care of our girl.
Full disclosure: Jacqui is my daughter...however, she has assumed primary responsibility for our two dogs, walking, feeding, playing and interacting with them in the most attentive and loving way possible. I've never seen Jacqui meet a dog she didn't love!

I would like to know how the dog(s) behave when their parents are away. I would also like to know of any triggers a dog might have, like if they like to be picked up or not and if they have any sensitive spots on their bodies that they don't like touched. I'm okay with any breed and size of dogs. I would also like to know if your dog has any type of food aggression or toy aggression. I have two smaller dogs myself but I have plenty of experience with dogs that are much bigger.
A typical day
When a pet is with me, I like to make sure they're comfortable and happy. I like to take dogs on long walks to tire them out and make sure they're getting plenty of exercise! If the pet parent is okay with the dog(s) traveling in a car, I live within 10 miles of three different dog parks and would love to let the dog(s) off the leash to run around with supervision. I also live near a park with plenty of safe walking paths in case the dog(s) are better on leash than off.
