I've taken care of dogs my whole life. Upon transitioning to Indianapolis from Spain in recent years, I decided to host other people's dogs instead of getting my own because I do still spend part of the year abroad and international travel is not fun for doggos! I lead a very active lifestyle and go out for daily runs and walks year round and in all kinds of weather.

Jacqui has cared for Cutie several times now, and he doesn’t head for the door as soon as we arrive, as he has done with other sitters. Also, he seems happy and relaxed when he leaves. I also appreciate that he gets lots of walks while there, as he loves his walks. Thank you!
Jacqui really treated Cutie like her own and let him join her on visits to family and friends. She also sent pictures regularly so I knew he was doing ok.
This was our 1st time with Rover. Whenever we have picked up our dog from pet hotel, she is quiet and slow for 2 days and it makes us worry if she is depressed or just did not getting enough sleep there with all the barking dogs. But when we picked her up from Jacqui's, she looked happy and energetic. Jacqui also was able to accomodate our change in picking time. Rover process was seamless and Jacqui was great. We definitely will consider Jacqui first for our next dog boarding need.

Information Jacqui D. would like to know about your pet
I am most interested in being informed about any behavioral issues to be aware of. I like to know how your dog gets along with other dogs and people in general. For example, does your dog love attention and making friends or is it best to keep them away from other dogs/ children? I also like to be aware of any issues you've dealt with regarding bad habits to look out for, especially those that involve property damage (e.g. digging holes, scratching floors and doors, chewing up household items). I also like to know how your dog tends to spend their day and how much activity they're used to. I'm happy to go on shorter walks for dogs that need/tolerate less activity but also happy to take your dog out on a longer run!
A typical day
I live near the Monon and Fall Creek Parkway and love to get out to run/ walk on these trails daily. I also have a fenced in backyard that is great for playing and burning off extra energy.

Availability
I work mainly from home, so I have plenty of time for play breaks and getting out in the yard and around the neighborhood. When I work away from home, I am generally not away for more than 2-4 hours.
