Professional Pet Care Provider

Pet care experience

My name is Jacqui and I am a holistic and humane based pet provider. I own a doggy daycare, boarding and training facility in Bristol, RI. I started in the pet industry professionally 5-years ago in Boston. I moved to Bristol, RI in 2016 to open up my facility. I am happy to say I still service the Boston area and provide free pick-up and drop-off's to and from Boston. I have gone through extensive training via The Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers,The International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, FetchFind and Rover. I am Pet CPR and First Aid Certified and I never stop receiving training and education in the dog world. I am experienced in administering medications and do so at no extra cost. At my house, I have no limits on what furniture dogs can go on. Your dog is free to roam and sleep wherever he or she wants. This is a general outline to what your dogs day looks like: Arrivals 7:00 – 8:00 am Dogs are checked in, their belongings are put into their cubbies, and they wait for their friends to arrive. Morning Activities 8:00 – 11:30 am Dogs participate in ball-fetching, chasing games, wrestling, tug, frisbee etc. Individual Attention 11:30 am – 12:00 pm Special needs are attended to, lunch/snacks are distributed, etc. Nap Time 12:00 – 2:00 pm Yes, they actually rest! It’s lights out time with classical music played and dogs resting in individual cottages or with their friends. This is an important quiet time, as the dogs have had a very active morning and need time to unwind and relax. Exercise and Manners 2:00 – 5:00 pm A less fast-paced version of the morning activities involving more one-on-one attention and TLC. During this time we go over basic manners and recall using positive reinforcement training methods. Individual Attention 5:00 – 6:00 pm It’s dinner time for those that are sleeping over, and time for other special needs that our guests may require. If you have any questions or would like to learn more, please feel free to reach out :-) Given the open setting, I do require that all dogs are up to date on vaccinations, are spayed or neutered, and are dog friendly.

Jacqui was great! She really seemed to make our pooch feel at home and sent pictures throughout his stay so we could see what he was up to. Will definitely reach out to her again for future needs!

Information Jacqui D. would like to know about your pet

Please give me as much information as possible about your furryfriend. For example: What is his/her feeding schedule? Is he/she on any sort of medication? Does he/she have an allergies? Is he/she up to date on vaccinations? Does he/she have a bite history (with people or dogs) Does he/she get along with other dogs? Any fears or phobias I should know about?

A typical day

If your dog is not social with other dogs, he/she is older or has special needs and just needs one on one attention with humans, then they will enjoy daily private excursions to Colt State Park and/or Mount Hope Farm. He/she will enjoy extra pets, belly rubs and snuggles and get to lounge out and relax wherever he/she prefers. I have a full stock of kongs, bones and toys both at my house and facility that they are welcome to.
