Jackie was very nice in all of our communications. I was disappointed when I took Remi to her home. He is a 10 pound dog and he is 13 years old and he has very very bad breath. Brushing does not help nor does going to the vet help. However, I never thought to tell her that his breath is bad, and when I arrived and pointed it out that he does have bad breath, she did say she wished she had known that because she would not have taken him. I explained that although it’s bad once he calms down and keeps his mouth closed, it’s not that terrible. Every day she communicated with me and sent pictures. That was very nice. He did have a couple of accidents in her home which was surprising, but he was in a different home. When I got home with his leftover food, most of his snacks were still there and half of his food that I had measured out. I think she was giving him a snack that he wasn’t used to, and it may have been bothering his stomach. She did tell me she does not like Biljac and that’s what I give him. He has been home since Saturday and there have been no accidents nor any type of problems. She also told me she thought he had dementia because he does go outside and stares at nothing. I think his vision is going because of his age. I know she doesn’t want us back because of Remi‘s breath, but I also would not take Remi back. She has a lovely home and talked about her other dogs that she used to have. I just don’t think we were a good fit.

Jacky is a fantastic Rover. Our dog is older and she took such good care of her. She is very caring and has a great yard for your dog. Lulu was made to feel right at home. She will send you many updates and keep you well informed.
