As a former Veterinary Technician, I have 15 years of animal experience. I am well trained in basic animal care, animal behavior, as well as medical care and emergency aid. Knowing and understanding animal behavior, allows me to give your pet the utmost care according to their specific individual needs. My personal experience extends further than just dogs and cats, as I am also very comfortable with exotic pets (parrots, small caged pets, fish, amphibians, reptiles). Being that I personally care for and have in my home dogs, cats, birds, and livestock; I am positive that I can accommodate the needs of your pets. My home is well equipped for animals, with a large fenced in backyard, and a large property with few neighbors. Plenty of room for romps, play, and walks. At our home, animals are the axis on which we spin, and I truly strive to offer your pet a comfortable and simulating environment for them while you are away. Pets deserve a vacation too! I have been dog boarding and offering doggy day care before I became a verified sitter on Rover and can provide references from clients. I will always propose a Meet and Greet beforehand, somewhere public for us to meet, and mutually feel comfortable about bookings. You may also expect a consistent stream of photos of your pet while you are away. If you love your animal companions as much as I do, I know that you want to know they are safe, loved, and well while you are away. I am happy to answer any questions about my pet experience via text, call, or in person at our meet. Can't wait to meet your sweet pet!

Boarded my GSD for the first time with Jacqueline for week. It was a pleasant experience right from the first time my family met with Jacqueline. Our boy had a great time and came back refreshed. Jacqueline kept updating us every day with pictures of playing and walking with our boy. Will definitely go back next time to board again. Had a fantastic experience boarding my Australian Shepherd with Jacqueline! My dog was anxious at drop off and she was very calming and confident, and handled him perfectly. She updated immediately that he was doing fine and adjusted quickly. Communicated daily with pictures and responded quickly to my messages. Could not be happier with this stay, and plan on using her for all my boarding needs in the future. Location near the airport is super convenient as well. 10/10

My home is very much setup to accommodate animals of any size. Dogs that are boarding will either sleep in a crate with bedding, or my kitchen has pocket doors that can close so your pet/s can have the kitchen to themselves to give them their own private space. There is a large fenced backyard that your pet can use for potty breaks and outdoor play. If your pet is dog friendly than I have multiple dogs that would enjoy a new playmate! For walks and drop ins, all instructions will be followed precisely. I have experience in training as well which allows me to see and understand pet body language on walks in order to ensure your pet's safety at all times. Doggy Day Care pups are also given their own space, but I strive to fill their time at my home with stimulating and enriching activities. Much like a daycare for children, I hope to provide them with a full day of learning and exercise, so when you pick them up they have had as busy a day as you have! They will assuredly be well cared for, loved and even enjoy themselves while you're at work.

At our first Meet and Greet I like to ask a myriad of questions to give me an idea of your dogs personality, behavior and normal routine (ie crate trained, housebroken, dog friendly, cat friendly, cage/food/fence aggressive. medications, specific feeding instructions/dietary restrictions). While none of the factors would affect our availability to book, it will allow me to ascertain your dogs specific needs. Please note, that I have NO breed preferences or prejudice. Big or small, young or old, shy or friendly, nervous or outgoing, your pet will be loved and cherished regardless. **Dog owners with bully breeds or other stereo-typed "aggressive" breeds have no need to worry or be concerned. I don't believe there are bad dogs, only bad owners, and I am capable of handling any breed.
A typical day
In addition to my large fenced in yard, I also have many toys for engagement. My street is secluded with few neighbors, so I have plenty of field and wooded area, as well as access to side-walked neighborhoods for walks around my home. **Additionally my Partner has many years of dog behavior and training experience, and both she and I are able to provide training. Just Ask!

Availability
I work from home, providing animal services, and also have quite a number of my own personal pets. My daily routine consists of pet care as soon as I've woken up (and started the java machine). I spend about 2-3 hours every morning dedicated to animal care, feeding, medications, and enrichment. Animals are a huge part of not only my home but my life. Being as such, it will be no issue to care fully for your pets individual and specific needs. Every pet boarded, or staying for day care is provided their own space and comfort, as well as whatever they need to maintain their regular routine at home.
