Pet care experience
My household has always had a furry family member. When I say I'll treat your pawed loved one like my own, know that I truly mean your pet will be well cared for. I raised my first dog from puppy to a healthy 16 years young. I have been on Rover for the past 5 years. Since COVID I have been caring for pets full time. I had my own pet care business in Austin, TX and recently moved back to the Athens area. I have experience with anxious and elderly pets. Not only do I have dog experience but I am great with cats as well! I have been told that normally very shy cats take a liking to me quite quickly and I am an expert at finding their hiding places. Can't wait to become friends with your pet! I prefer not to receive any last minute booking requests (under 24 hours) or I may charge an additional fee of $25.

When in a clients home I try my best to stick to a pets normal routine regarding meal times, walks, and potty breaks and only leave for short periods (no longer than 4 hours).

As a general policy, I do not let pups meet other dogs during walks unless the owner indicates otherwise. Please let me know if your pet has any food allergies or can only eat food/treats you provide. I usually have a variety in my pockets and don't want anyone getting sick on my watch!
A typical day
I try to reinforce commands you already use with your pup and request that you leave a list of what your dog knows and uses. I encourage sniffing during walks for the mental stimulation as long as your dog does not try to eat everything haha
