Pet care experience
Hey there! Back on here after a few years away. I'm a prolific dogsitter/walker/owner/foster/volunteer here to hang out with dogs and get some extra Fitbit steps. I started to foster and volunteer with anxious and neurotic dogs with the Humane Society and LMAS, and chaired on the board of a local animal rescue, so I'm comfortable with all temperaments and strengths. It helps to be a runner too - bring on the border collies! I dogsit a lot for friends, family, and rescue peeps, and I always make sure to plan my time around being with the dogs as much as humanly possible. Whether your dogs want to lay in the sun, take a bunch of walks, hang out at the park, cuddle on the couch, or spend the day playing fetch, I'll keep 'em happy!

Jacqueline is an attentive and compassionate sitter for my English Setter when I am away and very reliable. He gets excited when she arrives and vocalizes his delight with a setter "roo" and a happy dance in circles. He is always well exercised when I return. My setter loves his sitter.

I have a huge 1/3 acre fenced-in backyard for your pet to explore. I have a spacious house with a friendly dog, but I also have a sturdy wooden gate to keep her in another part of the house if yours is more into one-on-one time. Don’t worry, my partner would keep her company!

It's always good to know if they have a schedule, how many times a day they eat, their energy level, their vet's contact information in case of emergencies, and any medications/allergies. I have experience with diabetic dogs, so I’m comfortable with administering subcutaneous injections
A typical day
Depending on where you live and what your preferences are, I'll take your dogs on all kinds of adventures. I love going on field trips to nearby parks and having a brisk walk/jog/tug of war session if the dog is energetic, and hunkering down to watch Jeopardy if they’re the couch potato type.
