Pet care experience
Hi my name is Jacqueline, I live in a family household with my son and husband. I have grown up with dogs and had 2 Rhodesian ridgebacks of our own, losing our dog of 13 years 2 years ago has left a doggy lover without a dog and I would love to look after your pet family member. I look after a 13 year old cocker spaniel who enjoys short walks to the doggy park, a German Shepherd puppy who has only just had his vaccines who enjoys socialising and new experiences. We have no pets of our own so your furry friend will receive all of our attention. I have an 11 year old son so your pet will have plenty of fun and cuddles. Our home will be a home away from home for your pet, I will follow your rules to ensure your pet feels safe whilst staying with us. If you are a shift worker I am happy to work around drop off and pick up times to fully support your dog to give the feeling of being at their second home. I recently completed a dog first aid course to further give you peace of mind that your furry family member is in safe hands. I hope to welcome your fur baby to our home where we will have lots of fun and cuddles.

Jacqueline and her son looked after Mac while we went out to celebrate New Year with family from Australia. We arranged a quick meet and greet a few weeks beforehand. Mac’s stay was only an overnight but he was well looked after. Jacqueline sent lots of pics and kept me updated on how he was. I would 100% recommend Jacqueline to look after your fur baby and would definitely use her again.
Jacqueline and her son were the most wonderful sitters, and I couldn’t recommend them more ❤️ Charlie has some health issues and they took this all in their stride. They were attentive to his needs, sent me loads of photos during the sit and he came home happy and content. I am a very happy doggy mama! I would like to know as much as possible of your dogs routine so we can duplicate it in our home and your dog feels right at home.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog out for walks to the needs of your dog so a few short walks or a nice long walk whatever is normal for your dog. If your dog likes to chase a ball we will chase a ball and if your dog is more laid back and enjoys short walks and meeting new friends we will do this. It is important to me your dog feels comfortable and that as much as possible their routine stays the same as at home.

I am available on weekends to look after your pet however available in the evenings to support shift workers and can be flexible with times.
