About Jasper

Jasper is my grouchy old man! he's only 3 but he has such a calm attitude and he's all about chilling out all day long. If you try to get him to play he'll be happy to, like to chase a frisbee or wrestle with your arms, but not for too long. He's pretty easy-going all-around. The thing that makes him most excited is when you get the leash out, he knows that he's going on an adventure when the leash comes off its hook.

  • Sex: Male
  • Age: 3 years, 5 mo. old
  • Weight: 40lbs
  • Breed: Australian Shepherd & Siberian Husky
  • Tracking Chip: Yes
  • Neutered: Yes
  • House Trained: Yes
  • Gets along with children: Yes
  • Gets along with other dogs: Yes
He is very territorial and protective of home, and if he meets a new dog for the first time at the house, he will not be friendly with them. My solution to this is always introducing him to new dogs outside on the street, or even better, at a park or on a trail.
  • Gets along with cats: No
He is curious about cats. If they are friendly, don't run/attack etc, he doesn't mind them and will leave them alone. If they react negatively to him, he will definitely chase. But when he does chase, a good loud correction "no" will make him stop.

About Malachi

Malachi is my new puppy! He’s working on his potty and obedience training, and he’s very good at giving kisses, napping, and being a fluffball.

  • Sex: Male
  • Age: 5 months old
  • Weight: 33lbs
  • Breed: Siberian Husky
  • Tracking Chip: No
  • Neutered: No
  • House Trained: No
He understands that it's good to potty outside, but doesn't completely get that it's not good to potty inside. He's very eager to please though, and if he starts to potty inside tell him "hey! no!" and he stops, goes to the door, and finishes pottying outside.
