Hi there! Being a passionate dog lover, I look forward to giving your pooch a happy place to stay while you're away. I work a pretty flexible schedule, my office is out of my home and am home in the mornings most days so you're dog will get plenty of love and attention while you're away. My background with dogs: I grew up with a black labrador and a golden retriever and recently rescued a young black golden doodle. I also have what I jokingly refer to as joint custody of a golden doodle that lives with me part time and with my parents the other half. I currently pet sit for a couple of friends and have a lot of experience from doing it over the years. I am happy to host your pooch, large or small and give them all the comforts of home. If they have any special needs or routines, just let me know and I'll take care of it! Look forward to meeting you and your pooch! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover ever since I was a kid. Grew up with first a black lab and then a golden retriever. I have been dog sitting for a while and am comfortable around dogs whether they're large or small. Meet my pets Piper the black golden doodle is a rambunctious girl who loves playing with other dogs and cuddling with her humans when it’s time to be calm. Sadie the golden doodle also comes over often! About my yard I have a large grassy backyard enclosed with a 6 foot tall privacy fence with a front and back gate that I keep locked. The yard is large enough for your pooch to sniff and explore before they come back inside. My experience administering medication Yes, I used to dog sit for an epileptic dog that took medication every day so I know the importance of making sure your dog takes his/her medication and takes it on time.

I grew up with mid size dogs and so that's where my background is but I'm fine with most dogs. Would love to know a bit about your dog's personality and how they behave in unfamiliar settings. Is your pooch lazy and loves to lay around or is your pooch super active and needs lots of play time and interaction? Would love to know anything that would make them more comfortable during their stay with me as well.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks There is a park just a few blocks away and in the warmer months I like to be outdoors a lot so if your pup is up for a little day hike, we'll head out to explore the great outdoors, on a leash of course. Your dog's sleeping arrangement You tell me. Does your dog sleep in a dog bed, crate, on a couch, with you? Wherever would make your dog most comfortable, I'm happy to accommodate most requests! Time I'll spend with your dog I have a flexible work schedule so I plan on being with your pooch into the late morning and return home by mid afternoon. An ideal day would be that I would wake up and let the dog out, dress and take them out for a short walk, return home to feed them and get ready for the day, let them out once more and then leave them either crated or uncrated depending on owner preference. Return home and take them out for an afternoon walk, hang out with them and give them pets, feed them dinner and let them out or take them on another short walk late evening and let them out once more before bed time. Sounds like a ruff life, right?
