Pet care experience
Hello! I am Jacquelin, a previous French Bulldog rescue owner & family caretaker of 4 dogs: Shi Tzu, Malti-poo, Boston Terrier and Pitbull-Lab rescue mix. Also, I hold an M.A in Clinical Child/Adolescent Psychology and work full-time in social services as an Individualized Care Coordinator. I believe a healthy and happy dog is a healthy and happy life! When caring for your family member, I like to work with the routine you have with your dog, as well as, play and challenge your dog to keep them sharp and happy. I have personal experience with maintaining the safety and training of traumatized dogs when on walks in the community. I am a well-organized and responsible individual who is happiest when puppies and dogs are involved. I care for all animals as if they were my own & give lots of kisses.

Great pics and communication. Very responsible and caring. It feels like rora goes on a vacation whenever she sees Jacquelin. Used half a dozen times - our favorite and only repeat sitter on rover. Really amazing and appreciated.
Jacquelin was so great. She picked up Bugsy and took great care of him for the whole time I was away. She also dropped him off even though it's a drive up and not close at all. I recommend Jacquelin as your doggy sitter. A+.
Jacquelin went above and beyond when she took care of Tana! She constantly sent me videos and pictures of her throughout the day, either playing at the dog park or entertaining her at home with her ball.. It really kept me at ease while we were on vacation and let me know Tana was always safe and sound. When we came home from Miami to pick her up, our flight got delayed by an hour and Jacquelin was very patient and understanding for us being late for her already late night pick up. When we got home, Tana was a very happy girl and fell asleep right away when we got home- she was pooped! I definitely recommend Jacquelin for those who have energetic pups and for those who are very protective dog parents such as myself :)
Jacquelin was awesome and really went above and beyond -- she sent pictures and updates every day of my two pups and she even freshened them up with a nice bath (admittedly they were pretty dirty. Thanks, Jacquelin!) The dogs were thrilled with her. 10 stars, would totally use again.

Socialization History - can be brought to the dog park or would rather socialize in small groups, or just 1 to 1 cuddles. 4. Favorite toys, blankets, spots in the home to relax, treats, bed(s). 5. Command practice - sit, stay, down... Whether I will be caring for your dog at your own home, or at mine, I take into account the details of comfort during sitting. I am an avid notetaker and will write down all information regarding the care of your dog. No breed preferences.
A typical day
During a stay at Jacquelin's, your dog will enjoy at least 3 daily walks, or runs, along the west side highway or around the west village neighborhood. I also enjoy playing hide and seek treats in the house for mental stimulation, as well as, visiting local dog parks upon the owners permission. I have been to the dog parks on the west side highway and Washington Square Park, as they are within walking distance from my apartment.
