Pet care experience
I’ve always been an animal lover. I’m very patient and hardworking. I care for a zoo full of animals (6 bunnies, 18 chickens, 2 geese, 7 cats and 4 dogs) at my own home, and I like to keep everyone moving, fed, watered and clean. I have good time management and I aim to be early and prepared.

This was my first time using Rover and not boarding at our vet. I’m not sure why anyone would ever choose to board when having a sitter at the house is an option! Jacob is the best, and took perfect care of the house and pets, as well as sent messages and photos each day we were on vacation to let us know how everyone was doing. The animals love him… we love him.

Jake did a wonderful job bathing/grooming my dog. He was gentle and extremely thorough with the services he provided. The amount of genuine care he has for animals is unmatched and easily reflected in his handling with my dog. I would undoubtedly recommend him to care for anyone’s pets.
We really hit the jackpot when we stumbled upon Jacob’s Rover profile. He has watched our pets just once so far and we couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. He was very available to meet up and discuss our pets needs ahead of time to ensure he was a good fit for our pets care. We have two olde english bulldogs who can be quite a handful! He was knowledgeable about the breed and was very reassuring in his ability and willingness to give medications, and deliver any special care our babies required. When he came to meet the dogs they were very excited to meet him and he seemed to be their instant best friend. We felt no stress or anxiety leaving our pups in his hands. Jacob is a very good communicator, and clearly has a deep love and passion for animals of all kinds. We would highly recommend his services, and appreciate his trustworthiness. Hurley and Harper can’t wait for their friend to come back!

I’ve worked with many dogs that have tried to bite or have bitten me. I’m fear free certified, and while I worked at the local animal shelter for a year and seven months I did really well working with I socialized dogs and cats.
A typical day
Cuddle time, appropriate play. Full attention. In and out play. Treated training. I like to play with the pups and their toys, and try to keep them going in and out during the cold months and hot months.

Availability
Everyday watering and exercising. Feeding on a routine and I have to make my rounds early at home while leaving time for more projects and added responsibilities later in the day.
