Pet care experience
I have a BS in Ag Science and my girlfriend, Margot, has a BS in animal science, she has been a vet assistant for 5 years and is finishing her technician certification this year. Currently she is the manager of a vet hospital. We have rescued and rehabbed a number of animals from a special needs dog to an abandoned pregnant horse. We love animals and all things about them. We offer drop in checkups and boarding at our house, with a large fenced yard. Special needs pets and their medical care would be very well understood and taken care of while in our care. We have 3 dogs of each size,a rat terrier, an aussie, and a big lab/pit, they all get along great and love new friends. Being here would be like sleepover for your fur baby.

My 2nd experience with Jacob and I am again very pleased with his service.
Jacob did a great job caring for my chickens and goats for several days. He and his wife Margo are delightful, caring people who know and care about animals. I will definitely use them again.
I had a fairly simple set up since the cat box and both dog/cat feeders are automatic, but my tortoise needed a bit of lettuce daily and the dog needed letting out (she has potty pads to use as well). They went above and beyond, came twice a day to break up the silence and give my pets some love,I received multiple pictures and texts to keep in touch about my trip and plans. Even brought in packages left on the porch. My doggie, huge twin kittens and tortoise were all happy and seemed very at ease when I got back. Will definitely use them again and recommend.

We can't take in dog aggressive dogs, we do have cats but they can be locked out of needed. I think each animals is different and we can determine a good fit case by case.
A typical day
We play ball, we can go on easy walks to the Wilmette river and run around our property and pastures if behavior allows. Our pets are all allowed on couches and chairs and have more dog beds in the house than furniture.
