Pet care experience
Like many others in this world, my love for animals started as a child. I’ve owned dogs, cats, fish, ferrets, reptiles, amphibians etc. I have always admired the connection between “man” and dog and the loyalty and compassion that comes with it. I unfortunately had to put my dog down this past July and so i am hoping that being able to help care for other peoples pups, will allow me the space to help heal this hole in my heart. Having cared for all of my friends and family’s animals over the years, everybody knows they can rely on me to provide the best care and entertainment for their furry friend.

Jacob is FANTASTIC, CARING AND SO TRUSTWORTHY! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to watch my 3 kitties while I am away. Leaving your fur babies can be very nerve wracking, but Jacob makes me and my kitties feel so comfortable. His attention to detail is exceptional! He cleans out the boxes, picks up any gifts that they may leave on the rug lol and treats them as if they are his own. But mostly, he is very dependable so I don’t have to worry about my kitties ever while I’m away. I HIGHLY recommend Jacob.
Jacob was phenomenal! He was responsive and consistent and made me feel comfortable with him stopping by my home to check on my cat. Without hesitation, I would gladly work with Jacob again in the future.
We left Jacob with our silver lab, Ruger, for the weekend. He was professional, a dog lover and overall made me feel very comfortable leaving my pup. Ruger will be hanging out with Jacob again soon! Thank you!
I'm that dogmom who hates leaving her pup but when I do have to, I feel 100% comfortable with Jacob taking care of him as I know he's taken care of/spoiled exactly as I would do if I was at home. Jacob is truly the best!

I know that allowing a pet care service into your home can likely be a nervous or possibly uneasy experience for some people, however i think it is important to note that my respect goes beyond just that of your pet. I have respect for your space and your routine as well. I do like to leave a “report card” after each visit letting you know how the appointment went and what all we were up to! I take the time and care to understand your animal on a behavioral and emotional level to make them more comfortable in your absence, and yes i’ll likely talk to them throughout my visit in some weird dog voice, i can’t help it.
Information Jacob G. would like to know about your pet
Most clients will let me know the important information from the get go, however i find it important to know how the dog behaves in the presence of other animals. When walking your pup, it’s important for me to know if i need to cross the street to avoid oncoming dogs etc so little information like this will help in creating a safe and friendly environment for myself and for your pup!
A typical day
Depending on the wishes of my clients, i love to be able to get the dogs outside and walking/running as much as possible. Walks along the river and lake are some of my favorite activities because the dogs always seem to love to be in the more nature based environment! With the consent of the parents i also love to take the pups to dog parks and car rides to better/bigger parks in the sacramento area. :)

Availability
I work Mon-Friday 8-5 so i would ideally do best with clients who might work opposite schedules/in the evening or night. I live in the Mission Valley area and work in Foothill Ranch so i am available to be in most parts of Lake Forest/Mission Viejo for pop ins during the day as well depending.
