A typical day
A typical day starts with a morning neighborhood walk to get some fresh air and sniff time. For high energy dogs, I love heading to local trails for a hike! When we’re back home, the focus shifts to enrichment play, dedicated socialization, and plenty of cozy downtime. I make sure to stick strictly to your pet's feeding and potty schedule while sending you photo updates so you can see all the fun we're having!

With over 15 years of experience caring for both cats and dogs, I provide reliable support ranging from energetic dog walking and quick bathroom breaks to focused socialization sessions for both cats and dogs. Whether your pet needs a daytime companion or a dedicated sitter for overnight and extended stays, I am fully available to maintain their routine in the comfort of your home. I pride myself on being a flexible, high trust partner for all your pet’s needs, ensuring they feel safe and loved while you are away. Additionally, I am a volunteer for Alley Cat Project, in Seattle, where I specialize in trapping, transporting to clinics, and providing medical care for rescues. This experience has given me a deep understanding of animal health and behavior, and I am highly skilled at helping cats transition safely into their forever homes.

Jake has taken care of my 4-year old black cat Pluto multiple times. When I went on vacation, he stayed with him for a full week and did an excellent job entertaining/playing/cuddling with him, feeding him on schedule and cleaning out his litter box. He sent me adorable pictures and updates to let me know that my fur baby was doing great! He also reached out with any questions he had about my instructions to make sure everything was done to my liking. Jake is great with animals and Pluto and I would be happy to have him back anytime!
Jake watched my two cats for a week while I was out of town and took great care of them. He followed my instructions carefully, feeding the cats separately (one will eat all the food!), cleaning the litter boxes, and just hanging out and playing with the cats. He sent me text updates with pictures and videos, so I could see how they were adjusting. One (Mama's girl) was still shy at the end, but the other was playing just a couple days in. I could tell that Jake was kind and gentle with them.
Jacob was incredibly punctual and professional while house sitting for me for a week while I was on vacation. He took excellent care of my dog, Simon, making sure he got long walks, regular bathroom breaks, and his meals exactly on time. He also handled Simon’s medication perfectly and made sure he got plenty of playtime and attention. I came home to a very happy dog and a well cared for house, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a reliable sitter.
