I have been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I've had three large dogs (German Shorthair, Pitbull mix, and Mastiff mix respectively) and multiple cats. Caring for these animals was a family effort where everyone pitched in where they can. At 14, I became a high-school volunteer at The Living Desert and quickly rose with that organization, eventually getting an internship as an Animal Trainer Assistant where I was responsible for providing care and training to a wide variety of exotic animals. During this time, I briefly started and ran my own reptile breeding company in which I was solely responsible for caring for 30+ animals. Now I am a student at College of the Desert where I am studying conservation ecology and entomology (insects). I currently am a certified Desert Naturalist and will be getting my Associates for Transfer shortly.
