We were so excited to find Jaclyn - she came highly rated. She responded quickly and came over the next day for a meet and greet. She is a trained professional athlete and we felt very comfortable leaving our pets with her. She stayed with our 2 dogs for a long weekend while we were on a business trip. She kept in touch with us and sent pictures. All was going so well. However, the last day of her stay, she didn't walk the dogs. It was raining on Saturday morning and one of our dogs didn't go out in the backyard when Jackie tried to let her out. Jackie tried again at noon and it was still raining and my dog didn't go out. It didn't occur to Jackie that she needed to put a collar and a leash on her and take her for a walk. Long story short, my dog didn't urinate since the evening before and we weren't due home until after 3 pm. When we got home, there was a very, very large pee stain on the carpet. She couldn't hold it anymore. I waited 2 days before writing this review because I wanted to be fair. After thinking about it, I would hope that someone else would write a review if they had the same experience as it could have helped us communicate better. Jackie is such a lovely girl and I don't think that she would intentionally cause harm to anyone or any pet. However, my concern is that she did not pay attention to details. I told her verbally when we first met that the most important thing is that my dog go out at least every 6 hours and pee because she has had urinary tract infections in the past and if she holds it too long, it can be very dangerous. I wrote on the instructions of Rover that they need to go out every 6 hours. We left written instructions saying that they need to go out every 6 hours (with 2 walks per day). She only walked them once per day. When I discussed what happened with Jackie, she was very apologetic and she said she didn't realize that this would have been a concern that she should have shared with me. She offered to come over and talk to us and she offered that we didn't have to pay her, but the payment was already processed. I also take responsibility for not specifically asking each day how many times she let them out and how many times she walked them and who peed when. If you use Jackie for an overnight, I recommend that you ask her to report specifics if you have any concerns about your dogs. :)

Jaclyn was great with my two spoiled and high energy pups. She was responsive and kept me updated on how everything was going. I highly recommend her to care for your fur babies!
