I've just moved back to the area after a few years away, and would love nothing more than to re-explore Portland with your pup! I have been working via Rover for the past 2 years, but I have many years' experience with dogs. I love dogs, and am always excited to meet new furry friends. My dog, Opal, and my cat, Olive, are my children, and I will treat your dog with as much respect and love as any family member deserves. Opal loves to go everywhere with me, especially on our daily walks around the neighborhood, but she understands and respects if your dog doesn't feel comfortable with her there. In addition to walking the neighborhood, I love hiking and exploring the different national and state parks in the area. I work from home part time as an accounts receivable analyst, and always look forward to the times when I get to enjoy some dog time. I am very open with communication - and am happy to send as many updates and pictures as you want! Personally, I know that when I am away from my pets there is nothing that I want more than to see them and know how they are doing in my absence.

Jaclyn is awesome. She caught on so quickly with Lola and figured out her little quirks and needs. It feels great to leave her in such good care!
Wow, there's nuttin' but positive within this young lady! From the very first interaction the feelings were excellent. At the meet & greet you can instantly see/feel the connection,and our dog did as well! Her personality is energetic & happy as is her love for animals. We all mutually agreed to our plan & set it in motion. Every visit was more than any pet owner could ask for without exception. Jaclyn came to our home 3 times a day, to feed all 5 of our pets (4 of them are cats) and to let the dog out for a pee. I believe she actually took her out for a quick walk to do it. Mid day she would come again to take Roo (afore mentioned dog) for a 30 minute walk, then it was back in the late evenings for feedings again. Each visit/walk we got a notification and a photo from her, complete with a tiny map of where they went that day. And she mixed it up as to where they went, so I guess Roo got to get new things to sniff every day....how cool is that if you're a dog!? We have an alarm system and she handled it perfectly with no issues what so ever. I realize this all sounds so dry & what is expected of this "service", but, Jaclyn went out of her way to even scoop the litter boxes for us. I know she loved on our mass of pets, even our cranky boy cat "Bug" whom is endlessly unpleasant and rather annoying. *we warned and apologized before we left about him. :) We are so very happy we chose Jaclyn (and she agreed to) to come be in our stead in our absence as a pet caretaker, and will gladly ask for her again and again! I firmly believe that our Roo is a bit bummed that she is again hanging out with me instead of Jaclyn on a daily basis, as Roo peers out the front window expressing the occasional heavy sigh with those sad faced eyes. Jaclyn is welcome in our home any time. I enjoy the upbeat person that she is, and the excellent way she took care of our home and our "furries" The Rickman's

Jaclyn was great! We had her take care of our dog and cat for 5 days - 3 visits each day. She was extremely reliable and took care to keep our dog on his normal walk and feeding schedule. When we got back from our trip we could see that our pets were well cared for; and judging by the pics we got from each visit it was obvious our dog enjoyed his time with Jaclyn. We will definitely call upon her the next time we have to go out of town!
