I have always had a special place in my heart for dogs, so growing up I would walk a handful of dogs in my neighborhood until I was old enough to get my first job at a doggy daycare! I have worked at 2 doggy daycares for a total of 3 years, where I learned not only lots of different dog breeds, and the personalities that come with them but also a lot of proper dog behavior and interaction(not only obvious signs but body language and such). I also got to learn different grooming techniques in my years there. From there I have also been a dog trainer- anything from behavior modification to just puppy behaviors and have done that for almost 2 years now. With my dog training position that requires me to be able to board dogs at my house, so I’m already set up and in a good routine with having guest, and I have also been to many different clients house to keep the dogs comfortable in their own environment!
