- Tyson is a 4 year, 1 mo. old Treeing Walker Coonhound & Whippet in Spartanburg, SC
Tyson is a very sweet, emotional (in a good way) dog. He warms up almost immediately to any person who shows him any sort of affection. He likes being on furniture (supposedly that's a trait of whippets) but thankfully he's not destructive at all. Tyson is occasionally playful, but usually he just likes to sniff around yards and bark up trees at squirrels. Tyson will typically calm down for the night around 7:00 and want to sleep between your legs, but he's be fine sleeping almost anywhere.
- Sex: Male
- Age: 4 years, 1 mo. old
- Weight: 55lbs
- Breed: Treeing Walker Coonhound & Whippet
- Tracking Chip: Yes
- Neutered: Yes
- House Trained: Yes
- Gets along with children: Yes
Tyson has been around kids his whole life, and he puts up with a rowdy 8 month old baby every day. Tyson has never shown a single sign of aggression towards any child.
- Gets along with other dogs: Yes
Tyson is great with most dogs, especially small ones. He's more playful with medium-sized dogs. Occasionally he barks at bigger dogs that intimidate him or German Shepherds for some reason, but it's never violent. Overall he's very well socialized.
- Gets along with cats: No
He might be able to learn to accept cats as pets instead of just other animals. I think around confident cats he'd be fine, it's the skittish ones that would run away immediately that might cause Tyson to chase them.
