Lifetime animal lover
Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my entire life and have never met a dog I didn’t love. I have 2 dogs of my own currently, a 14 year old Westie we got as a puppy from a breeder and a 3 year old chihuahua mix we adopted as a puppy. My Westie has had TPLO knee surgery in both of her hind legs which required significant physical therapy and care to bring her back to full mobility. She is also diabetic and has Addisons disease so I am very well experienced in providing her injectable and oral medications daily. I also have extensive experience administering eye and ear medications. I have provided care for dogs ranging in size from Toy Yorkie to Great Dane. I have also cared for several cats for family members and administered medications to them as well.
Reviews
Jackie was great with our little Beagle boy. she gave a lot of updates including photos and videos and made a night away without him easy.
Jackie’s house is the perfect home away from home for my dogs!
Jackie is easy to work with and has an excellent set up for caring for the dogs. Mine were well worn out, and thanks to the pictures and videos she shared, I was able to see why! They really enjoyed running around the yard and playing inside as well.
Jackie was wonderful about keeping us updated throughout the evening with photos. The dogs seemed happy and at ease all times.

Safety, trust & environment
I love playing with, snuggling and spoiling dogs and cats as much as possible. My husband and I always say our Westie was our first baby and I treat all animals in my care with that same love :). I have a lot of experience with animals requiring a special diet and patience to get them to eat. In my own home I have a fenced in yard and 2 small dogs who like to play but can also be happily separated in a different area of the home if necessary for all pets’ comfort and safety. While I normally only leave the house for very short periods, I do usually crate them for their safety and would prefer to do the same for your pet. I’m happy to meet in advance of any booking to discuss your particular needs. As a dog-mom myself, I know it can be very stressful to leave your fur baby behind and I want to reduce that anxiety for both you and your pet. I strive to provide as many pictures, videos and written updates as possible to ensure you know exactly how your pet is doing. I also encourage you to check in with me as often as you feel is needed. Please contact me with any questions or concerns about how I can make you and your pet feel as comfortable as possible in your absence.

Information Jackie W. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has preferences or special needs for food/treats/water and of course detailed information regarding their medications (if any). Please let me know if your dog has any anxiety or is reactive under specific circumstances. Your pet will be treated like family as long as they are in my care and I want to make them as comfortable as possible!
A typical day
I love to play fetch and tug of war, or whatever games your dog likes to play. I take long walks with lots of sniff breaks around the pond and parks in my neighborhood with my own dogs and would love to do the same with yours!
