Pet care experience
I have extensive experience in exercising dogs on and off-leash, caring in-home for animals with separation anxiety and caring for dogs with specific medical needs. I am kind, compassionate, gentle and loving. I treat all animals like I would want my dogs treated: with endless amounts of love. I enjoy spending time with dogs and including them in the active activities that I enjoy. I believe in getting dogs outside to explore and sniff their environment.

Jackie was wonderful. Loved on our pets and our house. Took care of our indoor dog, blind kitten and two outdoor cats. House was in better condition after her stay.
Jackie is an absolute gem! She took care of my 10-year-old dog over July 4th weekend, which is a traumatic weekend for most dogs, including mine. Additionally, he had displayed some uncharacteristic separation anxiety just before I left on my trip. Jackie handled everything with aplomb and was calm and confident about the situation. I came home to a happy dog and spotless house. Jackie spent real time with my pet, as opposed to just sleeping at the house and swinging by every 4-6 hours to let him out. I know it made a difference. I recommend her highly!

I like to know their general disposition and whether or not they are cuddly or keep more to themselves, that way I can gauge how well they are doing and if they need help adjusting while their family is away.
A typical day
I enjoy McKinley Park, Southside Park, anything along the river. If the dogs like swimming, let me know, we can go for a swim! I am happy to take active and healthy dogs on hikes and provide loving, shorter walks for dogs that are having a hard time.
