Pet care experience
Growing up, I had a Cockapoo and two Goldendoodles, and now I have my own Aussie mix. I have years of personal experience caring for family dogs for extended periods of time. I have basic education in animal handling, pet nutrition, and medication administration. I am pursing a Veterinary Public Health graduate degree so I understand the importance of the healthy pet, healthy family approach. Your furry baby will be safe, clean, and adequately cared for at all times.

Jackie was really nice and patient with Coco. She is friendly and easy to communicate with. The meet and great beforehand was helpful as Coco was able to warm up to Jackie before she started the visits. I was very pleased with my experience and Coco’s experience working with Jackie. I would definitely book with her again and would recommend her to everyone I know.

Jackie is great with our dogs. She has watched them on several occasions. We have two goldendoodles that truly love her and cannot wait for her to arrive for playtime and loving hugs. She treats the dogs as if they are her own. She is well versed in pet care with a more than general knowledge of health and wellness. We truly value her and trust her with our precious doodles.

I have two dog parks close to me (apartment complex park and Rocky Fork). I drive a SUV with a dog hammock and zip line harness for safety when transporting. The back windows are child locked at all times as an extra precaution. When entering a clients home, I will put on a mask and sanitize my hands prior to entering. I will make sure to leave the home clean and tidy.

I prefer meet and greets, especially with dogs that are very reserved and uncertain. I like to know how the dog walks on a leash and their demeanor towards strangers and other animals. I would like to know if there are parts of their body that don’t like being touched and if the dog can be picked up. I ask these things because in an emergency situation (i.e., a run in with an aggressive dog on a walk), I will protect your dog at all costs which may include lifting them off the ground. While I don’t expect this to happen, I like to be prepared. With that being said, I like to know about the neighborhood, the good and the bad. For safety, I will not let anyone pet your dog while on a walk, regardless if given the OK.
A typical day
My Aussie and I love going on little jogs! We are working up to running a mile together. I enjoy taking the pups to our complex dog park when it’s not in use! Sometimes we’ll head to Rocky Fork dog park if I’ve worked with the dog for awhile and feel comfortable with allowing them to interact with other dogs. My Aussie and I really love just sitting in the grass enjoying the sunshine. Since tick season is upon us, I avoid the local trails for safety.
