Hello! My name is Jackie and I am a young professional working in the insurance industry near La Vista while living in the Papillion area. I have had 20 plus years of experience taking care of animals. I grew up with dogs (both big and small) and cats. I currently have a seven year old black and white cat named Lucy. She loves to cuddle and take naps (just like her mom). I enjoy going back home to my parents’ house to spend quality time with their Black Lab/German Shepherd mix, Toby and Chocolate Lab, Bella. I also volunteer my time at Nebraska Humane Society. I truly have a passion for animals. I tell everyone that if I ever win the lottery, I would open up my own animal rescue. Until then, I will keep myself busy taking care and loving on your furbabies! I am available for house sitting, drop ins, and dog walking.

Jackie was outstanding! We would use her again in a heartbeat! She sent multiple pictures to keep us informed/at ease. She also left my house cleaner than I did I'm pretty sure! Also, I noticed when we got home our dog Hank was not rushing out of anxiousness or worryness to greet us at the door. To me this means he was well loved for and exercised a good amount. You will not be disappointed!!

I do live in an apartment so my dog sitting services would have to take place in your home. I pride myself on being a very neat and respectful individual. I will make sure to keep your space provided to me always as clean as it was when I got there.

When we first meet, I usually have a list of important get to know you questions that are beneficial to me knowing ahead of time. These include their sleep, eating, and walking schedules, bathroom routine, emergency contacts, medicine and health concerns, etc.
A typical day
I like to have activities approved first by the fur parents. But, if approved, I do enjoy going on walks or any trips that the dog(s) is used to and enjoy doing. Also I love playing with them and their favorite toys. Spending time with my parents’ chocolate lab has made me a very experienced fetch player.

Availability
My work schedule is 8-4:30 Monday-Friday. I work in the La Vista area so depending on location, I do have some flexibility over lunch. I live in the Papillion area and am open to most areas of West Omaha, Gretna, Millard, Papillion, La Vista, and Bellevue so I can be accommodating to your schedule.
