Pet care experience
I have been taking care of my own dogs and cats since I was 3 or 4 years old. I am one of the biggest animal lovers I know and I really wanted to be a veterinarian growing up. Because I believed this was my trajectory, I started caring for the pets of others at a very young age. Additionally, more recently, when I was living in Maryland I would work for a friend who had her own dog sitting business and I received positive feedback from clients. Currently, I have three (3) dogs. We live in an apartment so I am very used to knowing exactly what is needed to make sure the pups are getting enough exercise and are living a happy life. I have also dealt with various dogs, cats, and guinea pigs needing medication or having other special accommodations. I also have about 10 years of experience caring for horses and some experience caring for other farm animals.

I consistently supervise the pets I watch. I give them attention and love and read their cues so that I know what they are comfortable with, especially as trust is being built. Beyond that I make sure to listen to the owner's instructions and adhere to any dietary restrictions.

A typical day
I love to have the pups I watch partake in fun activities that will help exercise both their bodies and their brain! We will go for sniff walks, play outdoors, and partake in some indoor activities. I am also happy to take your dog hiking. Essentially, I customize activities based on a dogs needs/what I am hired for, but your dog's happiness is my top priority.
