Pet care experience
Once a dog owner, I know how important they are in your life. I enjoy their individual personalities and energy! It’s a win-win: they get their walk, I get some exercise and we both enjoy the fresh air. Whether it’s the canyon, neighborhoods or the beach, I know we would have a great time together. I can also take them paddle boarding! If not, they would love to relax in my fenced in yard and outdoor patio. I have an outdoor couch where we could just hangout and relax, listen to my fountain and enjoy the sunshine. My neighborhood is great for walks too. Residential, quiet; I live on a dead end street so traffic is minimal. Really a great setting for dog walks. I’m above a canyon too. Can’t wait to meet your sweet dog! If I could leave 10 stars I would. Right off the bat Jackie was so friendly. We had a quick meet and greet with my dog, Ruby, who is super nervous around new people. Jackie has such an easy, friendly nature about her that my dog was at ease immediately. A few weeks later Ruby had an overnight stay and had such a good time. Jackie took her for several walks, cuddled on the couch watching TV, and spent time outside in her lovely fenced in yard. As a fur mom, I really appreciated how communicative and understanding Jackie is. Highly recommend!
Jackie has a warm and calming nature, perfect for pooches away from their usual loved ones. She responds quickly to messages, is attentive and thorough. Will continue to use Jackie ?

Safety is always a top priority, so my fenced yard is key. I always make sure it is locked as well. I like to follow the rules you put in place in my home as well. For example, if you prefer your dog not go on the furniture then I will support those rules in my house as well. I also stick to any dietary restrictions your dog may be on. I make sure they get lots of play time and love!

Diet, medications, allergies, social level, can it be left alone whil I'm at work, potty break schedule, and past injuries. I also like to know if your dog can be picked up or if they don't like to be touched in certain way or certain area. I enjoy massaging them and hugging them. If they need more personal space than the average dog, I should be made aware, so your dog is as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I have a paddle board and if they are comfortable on the water, I’d love to take them out on the bay. I have a life vest and am very careful! I’ve taken several dogs out; some for their first time ever! I also live above a canyon with trails that are part of the Balboa Park trail system! Lots of good walking and hiking!

I work close to home so if your pet requires a walk or potty break midday, I can come home and spend my lunch hour with them. Very convenient! Also, if your dog has a calm demeanor and is socialized, I can bring him or her to work for a few hours.
