Pet care experience
Jackie is a dedicated professional who’s experiences with both domestic and exotic animals across the globe is extensive. Her experience started as a teenager working and volunteering at vet clinics, pet stores and animal shelters and has expanded to veterinary technician experience with over 23 years as a professional zoo keeper . Jackie’s animal care experience for the last few decades includes, behavioural enrichment, psychological husbandry, medical care and positive reinforcement training for hundreds of species from salamanders to rhinos, specializing in canines and primates. Jackie has traveled around North America and Asia volunteering with zoos and sanctuaries giving presentations and demonstrations on animal training. Training and caring for dogs since 1989, she is a charter member of Animal Behaviour Management Alliance since it’s inception in 1999.

I definitely recommend Jackie as a dog sitter or dog walker as she has a lot of experience training and caring for dogs (and other animals too). She has taken great care of my dog and cats when I've needed her help and I trust her implicitly. Jackie is a true "animal person" and is very compassionate and patient with all the animals in her care.
Jackie was great. We have a difficult dog and a young pup and who feeds off his anxiety. Jackie was kind and patient and able to apply her many years of experience to help calm them down during the introduction. I would highly recommend her.
Have known Jackie for years when she first started helping me with my Great Danes whilst I was at work and on vacation. This compassionate person is reliable and honest, always making sure my dogs were safe and loved in her care. If you need someone to care for your pets the same way that you do, then Jackie is the one. Jackie can also help with any behavioural issues your dog may have, using gentle, positive training methods to ensure a good outcome. Will be using Jackie again as my dogs always get excited when she arrives as they know Jackie means only good things for them.
We adopted a re-homed dog last summer. She is a perfect pet and has become part of our family. She has never been socialized, she is now 5 years old. Jackie has been working with our dog(Neesha) and has been coming to out home when we are away to walk and feed her. Jackie has been bringing her large dog.Blake to make friends with Neesha,Jackie has had Neesha to her home also. Because of her experience Jackie is really helping Neesha with this problem.

A typical day
Staying at my place provides excellent opportunities for socialization with other dogs including my own. There is full access in and out to the house and yard, which ever your pup prefers. Dogs are treated like my own with furniture and bed access. A bottomless toy box full of bones, antlers and toys, because there's nothing more fun than novel toys to keep busy.
