Tender Loving Care
Pet care experience
I have had pets for most of my life and spent 18 years with my beloved American Eskimo dog before she passed. I understand what's involved for their well-being and I know what it's like to be away from our furry family for an extended period of time. My clients' dogs are my family. I told my dog, Le'a everyday of her life what a good dog she was. I think that's why she lived so long! She went just about everywhere with me, on almost every adventure. I taught her tricks, like jumping through hoops or bicycle tires or between my arms. Play time was a definite priority. I miss her terribly and am not ready to bring another dog into my life. That's why I can't wait to meet yours! My previous clients--both dog and human--give me rave reviews. I often receive texts like this when my clients return home to their furry "kids": "Jackie, the kiddos are happy and great!!! THANK YOU so much! They are so normal when we come home. It's reassuring... We can't tell you enough how much we appreciate you watching them." Your pet's care and comfort are my top priority. I have sat for about 10 couples/families/friends with dogs and cats (with an occasional bird or fish thrown in the mix). I observe body language and behaviors to determine if anything is out of the ordinary. I watch the surrounding environment as well to ensure the animals didn't get into something they shouldn't have. I love taking photos of the pets resting or in action and text them to the families while they're away so they can see what we're up to! The pet owners I've worked for in the past know, like, and trust me to use sound judgment and they know their pets will be absolutely loved. I'm even known as a dog whisperer! It's easy for me to relate even to the most hyper dogs. I tend to connect well with most animals, it's all an exchange of energy, usually positive and calming. I do love the play time and will play fetch with the dogs as long as they want without over exerting them. I'm a fetch master, I even taught my cat to play fetch! It's one of the many ways we bond.
Reviews
We had a wonderful experience boarding with Jackie. Our regular sitters became unavailable and Jackie was available sort of last minute. Then, because of flight cancellations, we asked for a bit of flexibility and she was so gracious to provide it. She’s very loving, provided updates consistently, and took great care of our girl. Her yard is great for puppers to get their energy out. We hope to cross paths with Jackie sometime in the near future again!
Had to find a sitter last minute during holidays, and I am so glad that I found Jackie. She is the most loving and understanding person you could find! Also the huge backyard was perfect for my dog who loves to run around. He got to spend all his energy and slept all day long after we picked him up ? Will definitely find Jackie next time!
Jackie is the best that’s why we always rebook her!
Jackie is always our favorite and Ginger loves her!

Information Jackie C. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog have any special health concerns, physical limitations or disabilities, medication, special dietary needs, veterinary care info, best way the dogs manage stress, any other animals or people they interact with (positively or negatively) What are their favorite play activities, favorite hangouts, detailed feeding and walking schedule if needed. I have no preference for a particular breed, but I will, unfortunately, be unable to care for aggressive dogs.
A typical day
Play time is a priority, some fetch or maybe hide and seek. I've been to dog beaches and dog parks, but most of the walks will be around the neighborhood or local parks. If there's a gated yard, fetch or tug of war could be on the agenda.
