I am a licensed dog home boarder, Sefton Council Licence number MA032495, with a 5 star rating and I am authorised to board up to three dogs. I have been home boarding dogs for over 4 years now, so have gained lots of experience in boarding different breeds, personalities and combinations of dogs. I am passionate about all animals, and have owned pets all my life. I have owned dogs for the last 25 years, A retriever for 13 years and an old English Sheepdog for 12 years. In addition, I have regularly cared for dogs belonging to friends and family, some of whom are pictured above. I live in North Liverpool with my husband in a semi-detached house. We have a large garden and our road leads down to the grass area and beach at Crosby Marina. this is where we have walked our dogs over the years and they have loved the freedom and safety of this area. We currently have no pets of our own. I am not working, so this will be my main commitment and my husband is self employed and works from home, so one of us is at home most of the time. I have a car and can transport dogs if necessary. I am excited to meet and care for other people’s dogs, as I cannot resist greeting and talking to dogs when I am out walking. I’m sure that the right place for a dog is in a home environment and would not place a dog of my own in kennels. We allow dogs on our furniture, but do not allow them on beds or in bedrooms. We have learnt from experience, that dogs who are used to sleeping in owner’s beds or bedrooms do not settle if they are not allowed to do so. So we won’t accept any requests where this is the case.
