My name is Jack I am a British expat living in Täby, since moving to Sweden in 2020 I have embraced the Swedish culture of being in nature and enjoying a Fika. As much as I enjoy walking through nature the walks really improve when they are shared with mans best friend, the dog. Spending my time with a dog was something I physically and mentally benefited from while living in the UK which I hope to replicate here in Sweden by being with your special companion. I am experienced with dogs I have been brought up with them from a young age, my family has had various pedigree and mixed breeds such as a rescue Irish Red Setter called Sophie, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Mix called Caesar and a Norfolk-Border Terrier Mix called Ted. My sister has two male Cavachon dogs called Buddy & Ben, my close friend has a young Springer Spaniel called Hugo and through my partners friend’s I have walked Freja a 4 year old Labrador Retriever and a 2 year old Boxer-Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix called Lennart. I have always been around dogs, I have a natural connection with them and I really enjoy being around them. Over time I have developed an understanding of various breeds and I like to research about the breed I come in contact with. I raised my family’s male Border Collie called Charlie from a nine week old puppy which gave me skills in obedience training and taking care of a working/herding dog breed, a breed known for being very active, highly intelligent and sensitive. As an individual I am caring, responsible and reliable. I am always calm and confident with dogs that are in my care, when out walking or encountering difficult situations with other dogs, I always make a dogs well being a priority aiming to make them feel at ease and build their trust. I like to exercise a dog regularly as I enjoy hiking, taking long walks through the forest and going on small adventures, knowing the dog has been on a good and enjoyable walk is always satisfying and rewarding.
