Hi my name is Jack and I’m a sophomore at Harper college, I’ve always loved dogs but until a couple years ago I’ve never had the pleasure of having my own. Previous to caring for my own dog I would walk my neighbors dog and care for them when they were out of town and ever since getting my drivers license I’ve done the same for my aunts and uncles dogs as well. My girlfriends dog is about 120lbs and one of my uncles has a mastiff and I wrestled all of highschool and do powerlifting recreationally so big dogs have never been an issue for me even with pulling. I tried out another app called wag for the past couple months and I would get re requested by owners dogs that were known to pull because I didn’t complain about it. I’ve done everything from drop ins, to hour long walks in below freezing temperatures to dog sitting at the owners house the only thing I’m unable to do is boarding at my own house. I also have a cat that I’ve cared for for many years so I’m comfortable and enjoy caring for cats as well :) Unfortunately on the other app I tried out it isn’t as popular so most of the jobs I got were a decent amount of driving away and I’d like to see if I can find more opportunities on here since it’s so well known!
